Sign Language Detection Interface

What I did

I engineered the user interface for a sign language detection application using smart camera technology. The interface needed to be intuitive, real time, and accurate enough to be genuinely useful in high stakes situations. I focused on making the experience feel seamless so the technology could do its job without getting in the way.

Why it matters

Achieved over 85% accuracy in recognizing American Sign Language gestures. More importantly, the application opened up access to emergency services for non-verbal users who previously had limited options. The kind of project that reminds you why accessible design isn't optional. It's essential.
